Ken Stanger
Sales Director
“In print” all his working life, Ken has accumulated a vast knowledge
of the industry, having been a compositor, production manager and works manager
before going into sales. Ken has worked for The Hardy Group for over 20 years
before taking part in the management buy out with David Douglas in 2002.

David's first contact with The Hardy Group came in the mid 1970s, whilst employed
by the company’s accountants. In 1995 he decided that after 20 years in
the accountancy profession he needed a change and set out on his own. One of
his first clients was the Hardy Group – and within one year he had joined
them full time. His near 30 years experience of working with the company proved
vital during the management buy out in January 2002.
Whilst still involved in overseeing the day to day accounts, David is also a
key figure in the future development of the business – especially in the
contract publishing arm of the group.
Jennifer Allen
Director
A marketing graduate currently studying for a Charted Institute of Marketing
Post Graduate Diploma, Jennifer is an Account Manager with a varied and comprehensive
portfolio of contract publishing accounts, including Tesco, The Association of
Consulting Engineers and The Institute of Measurement and Control. Jennifer’s
reputation for retaining clients is second to none, and she also displays an
innovative talent in developing new revenue streams for publishers.
